A screaming PDA Phone

Have you seen it? Yes a screaming cell phone. When someone tries to steal your phone it will scream out loud. I saw it in the news yesterday. Pretty cool ha, it's now out in the Europe, and I think it will be available in the U.S. by early next year. The service comes with a fee, and from what I've seen and heard, your phone will start screaming as soon as you report it missing. The scream won't stop unless you take of the battery, but as soon as you put it back it will start screaming again. Nice. But do you think it will stop, those nice guys from snatching such a cool gadget?

All phones comes with security features, like those of the GSM phones sold by Cingular and T-Mobile, by default it will only work with the mother network, so if you are a cingular subscriber and you lost your phone, nobody can use it in the T-Mobile Network or vice versa, that's what you call network lock. But now you can see phones for sale on the net saying Unlock, meaning you can use it in any network, or you can just buy the software to unlock it. Also theire is the GSM Phone IMEI no. some network use this to secure your phone, so say you lost your phone, just call your provider and give them your IMEI no. and they can lock your phone. Even if they replace it with a new SIM Card, it won't work. But nowadays, a lot of people can bypass those security. Oh well, that's life, It's like a box of chocolate, you'll never know what you'll get.

Back to Headlines.

Yesterday's shooting at QUARRYVILLE, Pa was really horrible, I mean what is happening in our world. Last week the hostage drama in Colorado left two dead. Can you imagine the number of predators out there just waiting for the right moment?
  • According to report, this guy in PA identified as a certain Charles Roberts, 32 years old had plan the hostage taking for at least week, he even had 600 rounds of ammunition.
  • Now this is what I say, taking matters into his own hands. Bush stops online gambling. That is a really good thing he did.
  • Wow this one is also good news, Ford sales are up by 4.7%, that's new, haven't seen that in a long time. It' always Toyota, Honda, BMW, VOLVO, MERCEDEZ, da hello we're in America. What happened to the American Car makers? Looks like fords New CEO is doing a really great job.
  • Turkish hijacking ends safely in Italy. It started over greek airspace. Hijackers have a message for the pope. And looks like their reason for hijacking the airliner, guess what, "The Pope's planned visit to Turkey". Man give me a break, it's still a plan, why didn't they try to call him in the Vatican. The Pope is a good man, he will listen to what you want to tell him.
  • Now this is scary. North Korea announced plans to test nuclear bomb despite the fact that every thing they test turns out to fail, so I heard.
In History
  • 1993 : Today the Battle of Mogadishu begins. Remember, Black Hawk Down?
