Just another day at work

Just another day of work at home. I'm almost done with the classified ads section, one the project I'm currently working on. It's for a newspaper publication that I'm currently maintaining. I decided to add a free classified ads section. It is a free service and will stay that way. No plans of adding a fee. The classified ad section was a totally separate system. I'm using Joomla on this one, and the Ads manager component, on the news site I use PHP Nuke.

Anyway, I know, that I used to write some current news and other fresh stuff as it happens, but, I'm kinda loaded at the moment, I don't have time check the news or watch TV. Working from home is not as easy as I thought it was, and lately, it seems that 24 hours is not enough to get the work done. Work meaning, doing the actual work, like the projects, plus the house chores, doing laundry, taking care of the baby and stuff, washing the dishes, eating lunch, feeding the baby, by the way, I have a two year old boy with me. I mean, I love what I'm doing, it's just that, there isn't enough time to do all of this work in a day.

Like today for example, it's already 4:10 in the afternoon, in three hours it's dinner time, anyway, that's it for now.

A lot had happened in a day. I wasn't able to post yesterday because I was too busy with work. I didn't realized I missed a lot.

Yesterday I finished one of my project. A link directory site for a company selling remote control cars. I will discuss more on this later.

I have to read my news first and log the headlines today, before I get busy again.

Gregorian Calendar?
From wikipedia the free encyclopedia

The Gregorian calendar is the calendar that is used nearly everywhere in the world. A modification of the Julian calendar, it was first proposed by the Calabrian doctor Aloysius Lilius, and was decreed by Pope Gregory XIII, for whom it was named, on 24 February 1582 via the papal bull Inter gravissimas. Its years are numbered based on the traditional birth year of Jesus Christ, which is labeled the "anno Domini" era [1].

The Gregorian Calendar was devised both because the mean year in the Julian Calendar was slightly too long, causing the vernal equinox to slowly drift backwards in the calendar year, and because the lunar calendar used to compute the date of Easter had grown conspicuously in error as well.

The Gregorian calendar system dealt with these problems by dropping a certain number of days to bring the calendar back into synchronization with the seasons, and then slightly shortening the average number of days in a calendar year, by omitting three Julian leap-days every 400 years.
